For months now, indeed for over a year, the corporate media has tossed around the prospect of Trump’s UN ambassador Nikki Haley becoming president. They say it is entirely possible Americans will vote for this woman. She’s perceived as tough with the latch of a bull dog, relentlessly confronting Iran, Venezuela, and other enemies of the neoliberal order.
Trump’s support for Israel and its systematic slaughter of Palestinians took a beating this week when the United Nations flat out rejected a resolution introduced by the intrepid Nikki Haley. She wants to blame the Palestinians for Israel murdering them in the hundreds.
The UN rejected this and condemned Israel for its “excessive, disproportionate and indiscriminate” force against Palestinian civilians. 120 nations voted in favor of the resolution. Eight voted against, led by the United States and Israel. This resulted in the United States withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council in protest.
It looks like Bibi Netanyahu and the Israeli Likudites—after all these years of pushing—will finally get their war.
Naturally, they are seeking US support. They can’t do this on their own. It’s too big of a job, same as taking out Saddam Hussein and Iraq.
Here’s how it will probably play out.
According to Trump’s United Nations ambassador, the King has yet to decide what to bomb and when.
