COVID-19 and the QAnon Psyop

A scarlet letter will be affixed to all who counter official narratives.

In May 2018, investigative journo Suzie Dawson posted a series of tweets describing the QAnon movement as an intelligence operation.

Dawson believes QAnon “revelations”—most notably the PizzaGate farrago—consist of information that is not “in any way a meaningful threat to the supremacy of the intelligence agencies of the United States.” Dawson writes that intelligence agencies “are not launching public manhunts for Q like they did for Assange & Snowden.”

However, after Dawson tweeted the above nearly two years ago, the FBI—long the ruling elite’s political police—has focused on QAnon as a supposed domestic terrorist threat.

Last May, the FBI “identified conspiracy theories, including those espoused by QAnon, as a domestic terrorism threat,” The Washington Times reported. “Both Pizzagate and QAnon conspiracies have been linked to acts of violence.”

According to Yahoo News:

The FBI intelligence bulletin from the bureau’s Phoenix field office, dated May 30, 2019, describes “conspiracy theory-driven domestic extremists,” as a growing threat, and notes that it is the first such report to do so. It lists a number of arrests, including some that haven’t been publicized, related to violent incidents motivated by fringe beliefs.

Late last month, a post on 8kun—the resurrection of the imageboard 8chan taken down after a “manifesto” attributed to the El Paso shooting appeared there—implied COVID-19 is a bioweapon created to derail Trump’s reelection.

According to Media Matters, a partisan Democrat operation funded by George Soros:

The “Q” post’s spread comes as supporters of the conspiracy theory have been using social media platforms to spread falsehoods about the virus being some kind of false flag by the “deep state” for population control or a “military operation” to target supposed elites. They have also promoted dangerous false cures for the disease such as drinking bleach…

Since then, the post has spread throughout Facebook groups and Twitter among QAnon supporters, where it has received thousands of engagements combined, being cited for proof that “the virus is a Cabal weapon” and a “false flag” that “democrats look suspiciously responsible for.”

Suzie Dawson tweets the sort of partisan, pro-Trump “insider” information put out by QAnon directs “energy straight back into the conventional two-party political paradigm,” and as such does not threaten the ruling elite.

It is now well established that questioning the origin and severity of COVID-19 is strictly taboo and possibly dangerous. The QAnon narrative—that Asians were more susceptible to the virus and white people were immune—appears to be custom-tailored to fit the liberal establishment argument that any deviation from the government script on a number of issues is not only dangerous but represents a white supremacist domestic terror threat, never mind multiple instances of the state running white supremacist psychological operations (most notably Hal Turner, the FBI’s infiltration of the Ku Klux Klan, and other groups).

“The FBI once called conspiracy theories spread by QAnon and others a ‘potential domestic terrorism threat.’ It’s time to call the infodemic a public health threat,” writes “PhD candidate” Marc-André Argentino for the highly partisan and vehemently anti-Trump website Salon.

Suzie Dawson’s QAnon “Pied Piper” is likely an FBI insertion. If we look back at the documented history of COINTELPRO, we see how government agents and operatives infiltrated and destroyed political groups.

“The FBI justified the deployment of the draconian COINTELPRO operations to prevent Communist infiltration of ‘legal mass organizations’ but primarily of domestic groups that dissented from government policy,” writes Pedro Caban. “COINTELPRO employed illegal and legal covert measures to ‘neutralize’ and destroy organizations that the FBI identified as a threat to national security.”

Activists “were ‘neutralized’ by intimidation, harassment, discrediting, snitch jacketing, a whole assortment of authoritarian and illegal tactics,” notes Paul Wolf and others in COINTELPRO: The Untold American Story.

Many counterintelligence techniques involve the use of paid informants. Informants become agents provocateurs by raising controversial issues at meetings to take advantage of ideological divisions, by promoting emnity with other groups, or by inciting the group to violent acts, even to the point of providing them with weapons.

The FBI’s use of illegal and unethical tactics was investigated by the Church Committee in the 1970s, and although the agency insists it dismantled the operation following congressional revelations, there is evidence the operations have continued to this day.

“In a stunning revelation from the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF), it appears that COINTELPRO is alive and well. Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, PCJF was able to obtain documents showing how the FBI was treating the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement, from its inception, as a potential criminal and domestic terrorist threat,” Tom McNamara writes.

In regard to the subversion and destruction of OWS, Todd Gitlin writes:

How many demonstrations are being poked and prodded by undercover agents? How many acts of violence are being suborned? It would be foolish to say we know. At least equally foolish would be to trust the authorities to keep to honest-to-goodness police work when they are so mightily tempted to take the low road into straight-out, unwarranted espionage and instigation.

However, it is a documented fact the FBI has used informants (including criminals) to instigate fake terror attacks.

“This is pre-emptory prosecution: targeting citizens not for their criminal behavior but for their political views,” writes Glenn Greenwald.

It’s an attempt by the U.S. Government to anticipate who will become a criminal at some point in the future based on their expressed political opinions—not unlike the dystopian premise of Minority Report—and then exploiting the FBI’s vast financial, organizational, and even psychological resources, along with the individuals’ vulnerabilities, to make it happen.

It is irrelevant if QAnon is homegrown or a manufactured enemy. The national security state and its intelligence agencies are determined to demonize and criminalize any “wrongthink,” not only in regard to a suspicious and misreported viral pandemic, now in the process of normalizing tyranny by the state. The scarlet letter of extremism and terrorism will be affixed to all who counter official narratives.

The Twilight of Liberty: the State Destroys Alternative Media

First, they came for Julian Assange.

It should be obvious by now what the plan is for Julian Assange—psychological torture resulting in either a total breakdown or an untimely death, the latter supported by the psychopaths who claim they are our leaders. This psychological torture was noted, with standard corporate media disinterest, by Nils Melzer, an internationally recognized expert on torture treatment.

“Unless the UK urgently changes course and alleviates his inhumane situation, Mr. Assange’s continued exposure to arbitrariness and abuse may soon end up costing his life,” Melzer, UN special rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, said in a statement last week.

Melzer demanded “that London immediately take measures to protect Assange’s health and dignity… However, what we have seen from the UK Government is outright contempt for Mr. Assange’s rights and integrity… Despite the medical urgency of my appeal, and the seriousness of the alleged violations, the UK has not undertaken any measures of investigation, prevention and redress required under international law.”

In America, the UK, and much of Europe, the financial elite and its political class consider truth-telling a cardinal sin, a crime punishable by death—not by lethal injection, but slowly and sadistically under a torture system tweaked by the CIA and put into action in rendition dungeons scattered around the world.

An article at Strategic Culture Foundation summarizes:

Assange has provided vital information to the international public which demonstrates systematic corruption by Washington and its allies. For telling the truth, he is now being persecuted, just as his whistleblowing colleagues, Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden are. Manning has been repeatedly imprisoned in the US, while Snowden has had to seek asylum in Russia for fear of being summarily incarcerated as a “traitor” if he returns to the US.

In fact, all of us, those who look beyond the headlines and ferret out the truth, are half a dozen steps away from suffering Julian Assange’s fate.

The national security state and its political class plan to kill Assange, keep Chelsea Manning in prison and find a way to return Snowden to the US for a show trial and life behind bars (or execution).

It must, however, first salt the earth where truth is harvested. Thousands of blogs, similar to this one, and websites contradicting and disassembling approved narratives, will be targeted for extinction.

The Mueller investigation did not result in dethroning Donald Trump. The Clinton-DNC attack on a duly elected president, however, resulted in millions of easily duped Americans believing Russia somehow meddled in the 2016 election and will do it again in 2020.

According to corporate entities in “partnership” with the state (the true nature of fascism), Russia is not alone in its supposed hatred of democracy and the self-proclaimed exceptional nation-state.

“There is an undeclared war that Russia and China are waging against the United States and the West,” Jim Sciutto,  CNN’s chief national security correspondent and co-anchor of CNN Newsroom, told the Poynter Fellowship in Journalism Speaker Series in October. “China and Russia, over the last 10 years, have done a remarkably good job at this.”

This alleged manipulation of American voters, according to the state and its corporate propaganda media, is assisted by Russian agents and a countless number of mindless dupes unaware of Vladimir Putin’s desire to destroy America.

In 2016, Max Blumenthal wrote:

A shady website that claims “Russia is Manipulating US Opinion Through Online Propaganda” has compiled a blacklist of websites its anonymous authors accuse of pushing fake news and Russian propaganda. The blacklist includes over 200 outlets, from the right-wing Drudge Report and Russian government-funded Russia Today, to Wikileaks and an array of marginal conspiracy and far-right sites. The blacklist also includes some of the flagship publications of the progressive left, including Truthdig, Counterpunch, Truthout, Naked Capitalism, and the Black Agenda Report, a leftist African-American opinion hub that is critical of the liberal black political establishment.

“You can see in the current atmosphere, where anti-Russia hysteria has spread like typhoid, how readily-accepted such a notion would be by many. The reds are under our beds and the Russkies have taken over our airwaves,” wrote Daniel McAdams of The Ron Paul Institute for Peace & Prosperity wrote in 2017.

The Washington Post, owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, rolled out the red carpet for the shadowy group, PropOrNot, and its baseless fact-devoid accusations of alternative media treason and complicity with Russia.

Bezos is working closely with the CIA on a $600 million internet-cloud deal to get the NSA, DoD, the National Reconnaissance Office, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and other government snoop-and-subvert operations interconnected.

The Alliance for Securing Democracy’s Hamilton 68 effort to destroy alternative media also has roots in the 2016 election loss of Hillary Clinton. Hamilton 68 is a project supported by the US State Department, the German Marshall Fund, and NATO. Neocon William Kristol and DNC operative John Podesta sit on its advisory board. The organization leans heavily on the Russian collusion fairy tale, thus lending to the conclusion alternative media is a Trojan horse that will help the “New Hitler” Putin destroy democracy.

timeline-landscape-web1

I certainly don’t have a crystal ball to gaze into and read the future. However, it seems rather obvious what the outcome of all this feverish work to demonize truth-tellers and install gatekeepers on the internet will be.

First, high visibility “fake news” websites will feel the heat. This is already well underway with the persecution of Alex Jones for the crime of questioning Sandy Hook and promoting the Pizzagate conspiracy theory. Lawsuits aimed at Jones are intended to drive his operation into bankruptcy and hold him criminally responsible for questioning official narratives.

The takeaway here—questioning official narratives and positing counter-narratives is a risky business and you are advised not to engage in treasonous behavior with Russian agents if you value your freedom, ability to earn a living, and want to stay off a government terror list.

Second, the concerted effort to sanitize social media of heretical political expression is moving along at a fairly robust clip. Numerous activists and alternative websites and individuals—including the above mentioned McAdams—have been scrubbed since Hillary Clinton declared war on freedom of political expression, which she fallaciously and absurdly chalked up to malfeasance by Russia and the misbehavior of Deplorables.

Third, there will be “meddling by Russia” in the 2020 election regardless of the winner of the presidential teleprompter reader sweepstakes. This will be considered a national emergency and the floodgates will fly open to suffuse the population with scary stories of democracy lost to the autocrat Putin. Radical measures to stem the tide of subversion will be put forward and turned into law by the political class.

I have no idea what the outcome of this will be except to say many of us will be prevented from posting counter-narratives and unearthing hidden truths—historical, political, and economic. Earlier this year the FBI designated alternative media commentary as domestic terrorism.

“The FBI assesses these conspiracy theories very likely will emerge, spread, and evolve in the modern information marketplace, occasionally driving both groups and individual extremists to carry out criminal or violent acts,” the document states. It also goes on to say the FBI believes conspiracy theory-driven extremists are likely to increase during the 2020 presidential election cycle.

The FBI’s not talking about flat-earthers and UFOologists. It is targeting alternative media. The historical record—ignored by the propaganda media—of the FBI’s COINTELPRO operation to destroy political movements in the 1960s and 70s should be revisited. It is paradigmatic of the state and its subversion of opposition. For the FBI, terror is truth unshackled.

Again, I have no idea what will happen, but considering the emphasis placed on the destruction of the First Amendment—along with the Second and Fifth—and the manufactured hysteria of insidious Russian (and Chinese) subversion, and the credulity (or indifference) of the American people, it now appears the alternative media is in danger of extinction, at least on the internet.

Establishment Right and Left Call for COINTELPRO 2.0

Elections are determined by banksters and their cartel masquerading as a fed agency.

Both heads of the two-headed establishment political hydra want to resurrect COINTELPRO, the FBI’s illegal subversion program, in response to speech they oppose and want outlawed.

In August, The Verge (owned by liberal Vox Media and founded by former CIA asset Markos Moulitsas) and the National Review, the failing neocon journal edited by Rich Lowry, posted articles on how to best undermine the First Amendment right of millions of Americans.

The Verge cites a recent paper by N. F. Johnson and a collection of academics. Johnson and his fellows compare online “hate and extremist narratives” to a chemistry project.

“We observe the current hate network rapidly rewiring and self-repairing at the micro level when attacked, in a way that mimics the formation of covalent bonds in chemistry,” they write.

Because of this dynamic, the authors suggest fighting “hate” (unacceptable political speech) by inserting a “population in a pre-engineered format” within a targeted “hate-cluster” and destroying it from within.

This is a tactic taken right out of the COINTELPRO handbook.

Branko Marcetic writes:

As the Church Committee, a congressional committee set up in 1975 to analyze the excesses of US law enforcement and intelligence agencies over the preceding decades, put it, what followed was a secret war against those citizens it considers threats to the established order…

The bread and butter of COINTELPRO operations was the use of wiretaps, anonymous letters, informants, and other means of subterfuge to, in the Bureau’s own words, foster factionalism and create suspicion within groups, bring individuals into disrepute before the American public, and create disruption and discord among such groups and movements in order to destroy the Left, or at least render it useless.

Although Rich Lowry of the National Review admits COINTELPRO was illegal, he appreciates how the program was used to supposedly degrade and dismantle the Ku Klux Klan. In fact, the FBI used its informants and clueless Klan members to attack the Left.

Brian Glick writes:

In the guise of a COINTELPRO against “white hate groups,” the FBI subsidized, armed, directed and protected the Klu Klux Klan and other right-wing groups, including a “Secret Army Organization” of California ex-Minutemen who beat up Chicano activists, tore apart the offices of the San Diego Street Journal and the Movement for a Democratic Military, and tried to kill a prominent anti-war organizer. Puerto Rican activists suffered similar terrorist assaults from anti-Castro Cuban groups organized and funded by the CIA.

Moreover, the primary target of the FBI in the 1960s was the civil rights movement, not the KKK. Later, the emphasis shifted to the antiwar movement and black nationalist groups like the Black Panthers.

“Of all the movements of this period, the FBI viewed civil rights organizers as the greatest threat of all,” notes Marcetic. “According to an internal FBI document produced in 1963, civil rights protests were a threat to the established order, and Martin Luther King Jr a dangerous radical who had to be stopped.”

Although the FBI was run by the infamously paranoid J. Edgar Hoover, this was not just his pet project. Officials at the highest levels of government were aware of COINTELPRO and approved its continuation. The FBI as a whole dove headfirst into the project.

Now the threat is “deplorable” Americans fed-up with the establishment. They voted for Trump because he promised things undeliverable, same as any other politician. Donald Trump is at best a nominal threat to the establishment, more as an outlier demonstrating how a rigged game (national elections) can be penetrated and flipped.

After Trump’s surprising victory, the establishment began working on a way to make sure another outsider will not be allowed to game the system. The threat is posed by renegades outside the establishment and its media tributaries. With the advent of an open and free internet, these contrary voices began to make political headway and over time became a threat to the state and its monopoly on political power.

Prior to Trump, elections in America were determined by the banksters and their privately held cartel masquerading as a fed agency, the Federal Reserve.

“Whether it’s the mainstream media, the CIA, the FBI, or now the Federal Reserve, more and more Americans are waking up to the fact that there is a Deep State in America and its interests have nothing to do with American liberty. In fact, our liberty is what the Deep State wants to abolish,” writes Ron Paul. “When it comes to the Federal Reserve, I stand firmly by my conviction that it needs to be audited and then ended as soon as possible.”

COINTELPRO, then and now, is not about eliminating “hate,” it’s about eliminating the opposition. The threat of “white hate” is fiction. It’s true—a small number of people hate (or rather fear) people who are different—and they may even engage in violence on occasion against them. This isn’t a terrorist threat. It’s a law enforcement issue, the same as the weekly body counts in Chicago, Baltimore, and other urban hellholes.

The idea is quite simple. Define your enemies and portray them in the media as the ultimate in hatred—lovers of Hitler, enthusiastically rounding up Jews and feeding them into crematoria, hunting down blacks to lynch, millions “sent back where they came from,” and mass shootings blamed on hate of “marginalized communities,” that is to say special groups nourished and protected by the state.

FBI and CIA Crimes Only Matter When the Political Class is Targeted

Rep. Peter King of New York said recently there will be plenty of dirt revealed on the FBI and CIA after Attorney General Bill Barr concludes his investigation into the efforts to sabotage Donald Trump’s election campaign.  Continue reading “FBI and CIA Crimes Only Matter When the Political Class is Targeted”

Victims of FBI Subversion Now Embrace America’s Secret Police

It shouldn’t come as a surprise the FBI and the DOJ obstructed justice last year when then acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe told the House Intelligence Committee to pound sand after Republicans demanded he hand over work-related texts. Confessions of a Russian Bot

I’m a Russian bot.

I don’t consider myself a Russian bot. I’m just a semi-retired old man who criticizes the government on social media.

According to the government and its media, I am a Russian bot, or possibly a useful idiot for Russian president Vladimir Putin, who is, according to them, the New Hitler. They say Putin is trying to destroy the West using social media.

A Facebook Psychological Operation Against Syrian Girl?

Syrian Girl, aka Mimi Al Laham, tweeted earlier today about what amounts to a psychological operation at Facebook.

During Mark Zuckerberg’s grilling by Congress in regard to the Cambridge Analytica scandal, he promised the political class he will do more to go after “fake news,” that is to say news that doesn’t jive with official narratives.
