Year Zero in America

Pulling down statues is only the beginning.

I’ll bet most Americans don’t know who Pol Pot was.

Pol Pot was a Marxist-Leninist, a student of Mao, and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Kampuchea from 1963 to 1981. He turned Cambodia into a one-party dictatorship. He dreamed of converting his country into an agrarian socialist society he believed would evolve into a communist society. In order to realize that objective, millions were forced to toil in the countryside. “Bad elements” and “New People”—intellectuals, government officials, Buddhists, shopkeepers, disfavored ethnicities—were either worked to death in rural collectives or executed outright.

Between 1975 and 1979, it is estimated between 1.5 and 2 million people—nearly a quarter of the population—lost their lives. The Khmer Rouge made Maximilien Robespierre and the Committee of Public Safety during the French Revolution look like amateurs by way of comparison.

Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge called their terror campaign waged against civilization “Year Zero,” the idea that culture, heritage, religion, and history must be utterly destroyed to make way for a communist vanguard and the implementation of revolutionary culture. In China and Russia, similar revolutions resulted in the death of around 100 million people. The Nazis came in a distant second—they murdered a paltry 16 million people.

Fast-forward to 2020. The founder of Black Lives Matter proudly admits she is a “trained” Marxist.

“I see Black Lives Matter and Antifa as part of a global Marxist effort to destroy the United States,” Dr. Carol M. Swain told Sputnik.

Their goals are more about attaining political power and money than protecting minorities and improving society. Their organizational goals might be quite different from the goals of the protesters concerned about police brutality and discrimination.

Lenin wrote, “When it comes time to hang the capitalists, they will vie with each other for the rope contract.” This is certainly the case now as transnational corporations jump on the George Floyd bandwagon. The Ford Foundation (CIA), Amazon, Citibank, Facebook, Apple, YouTube, and many other large corporations are underwriting the effort to take down America under the banner of “social justice” and the destruction of capitalism.

BLM and Antifa are now involved in the sabotage and dismantling of American history and culture. “At its core, BLM is a revolutionary Marxist ideology,” writes Andy Ngo, a journalist attacked and beaten by Antifa goons in Portland. “The US is getting a small preview of the anarchy Antifa has been agitating, training and preparing for. Ending law enforcement is a pre-condition for Antifa and BLM’s success in monopolizing violence.”

Pulling down statues of Confederate generals and former presidents is only the beginning. The BLM-Antifa Marxists are more attuned to Herbert Marcuse than Lenin or Trotsky.

“A policy of unequal treatment would protect radicalism on the Left against that on the Right,” Marcuse wrote in 1965. “Liberating tolerance, then, would mean intolerance against movements from the Right and toleration of movements from the Left,” he continued.

“Marcuse dismissed the idea of individual liberty protected by law in favor of a Marxist society favoring ostensibly oppressed groups at the expense of everybody else. Such a society, Marcuse wrote, would demand ‘the withdrawal of toleration of speech and assembly from groups and movements,’” notes Joseph D’Hippolito. “Marcuse even justified violence: ‘there is a “natural right” of resistance for oppressed and overpowered minorities to use extralegal means if the legal ones have proved to be inadequate,’” Marcuse wrote.

The BLM-Antifa Marxist revolution under the cover of ending “systemic racism” is controlled by the ruling elite through foundations, progressive think tanks, wealthy liberals—and corporate CEOs you’d think know better.

Success depends on the help of opportunistic Democrat politicians who believe raising a clenched fist and parroting BLM will get them elected or re-elected, thus perpetuating a system of crony capitalism and endless war behind a kinder and gentler Democrat facade that is now falling away.

As I have previously noted, socialism and communism—two sides of the same coin—represent a near-perfect social and political control mechanism.

Gary Allen wrote in 1971:

If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of superrich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead it becomes the logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism, or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.

The ruling elite, the financial class that has profited so mightily from theft and violence, will not allow Marxists and black hoodie nihilists to spawn a violent revolution.

After Donald Trump is deposed, the rulers and their political class will turn on the more radical elements of the left. A watered-down version of socialism will be rolled out to placate the masses now facing a Greater Depression and a final nail in the coffin of a battered middle class.

El Paso Shooting: Cloudflare Pulls Plug on 8chan

Hysterical fantasy trumps the First Amendment.

I expected 8chan to be taken down after a supposed manifesto attributed to Patrick Crusius was posted on the imageboard forum. This happened on late Sunday, hours after the incident in El Paso. The takedown was endorsed by the site’s creator, Fredrick Brennan.

The New York Times, not shy about its ideological orientation, characterizes the site as follows:

In recent months, 8chan has become a go-to resource for violent extremists. At least three mass shootings this year—including the mosque killings in Christchurch, New Zealand, and the synagogue shooting in Poway, Calif.—have been announced in advance on the site, often accompanied by racist writings that seem engineered to go viral on the internet.

Mr. Brennan started the online message board as a free speech utopia. But now, 8chan is known as something else: a megaphone for mass shooters, and a recruiting platform for violent white nationalists.

It is also home to thousands of others who have nothing to do with white nationalism or mass shootings, but that is irrelevant to the emerging narrative pushed by the NYT and other establishment media outlets.

Due to months of relentless propagandizing about the supposed threat of white nationalism and the insistence Donald Trump is a racist, we have finally reached the point where irrational hysteria completely overshadows the First Amendment, which the state and its media argue has become a recruiting tool for white supremacists.

The internet and social media are also a megaphone for Antifa, a group that does not mince words when it comes to beating up and killing white nationalists or anybody within the political vicinity of the Alt-right and its muddled ideology. Antifa websites and social media accounts remain active.

dead fascist

This is how USA Today describes Antifa:

The primary goal is to stop neo-Nazis and white supremacists from gaining a platform rather than to promote a specific antifa agenda. The antifa groups are decidedly anti-racist, anti-sexist and anti-homophobia, but also by and large socially leftist and anti-capitalist…

A main goal is to try to deny fascists a public forum, which is why they turn out in numbers to physically confront neo-Nazis, the KKK and white supremacists at public demonstrations. They also step in to protect counter-protesters at such events.

In addition, antifa is particularly active in “doxxing,” or  identifying neo-Nazis and like-minded individuals and disseminating that private information to the public and employers to discourage people from joining their ranks.

Mark Bray, a Dartmouth lecturer and the author of a book on Antifa, demonstrates profound hostility toward the Constitution and the First Amendment, an attribute he shares with the Nazis and communists who used similar tactics to marginalize and kill off those who opposed Nazi and Bolshevik totalitarianism.

Bray says the rise of fascism in the 1930s demonstrates that it was a mistake to allow such groups to air their views in hopes that public opinion would blunt their growth. “We should be wary of those who are more distressed about alleged violations of the speech of fascists than the actual violence they perpetrate,” he says.

In other words, if you support the natural right to free and unfettered speech, you’re with the fascists and probably a target for these masked thugs falsely identifying themselves as anarchists. Most Antifa members appear to be a 20-something version of the sans-culottes—and are largely sans any firm ideological basis short of mob action that can be exploited by the state and sensationalized by its media.

The threat is not a handful of white supremacists. The threat for Antifa, far too many Democrats, and a manipulative state is the fact you are born with the right to speak your mind and engage in political activity—yes, even nazism—without fear of violence and retaliation by people who have at best a tenuous grasp on history and collectively hate the First Amendment unless, of course, it applies to them.

Delusions of the Social Justice Warrior Gang

Main tenets of the social warrior:

RACISM. It’s true, there are racist people. But so what? If they’re not killing, lynching, or dragging people behind pickup trucks, what is the problem? People have an absolute right to be idiots, narrow-minded, hateful, racist, and sexist—so long as such prejudices and irrational fear are not acted upon in a violent way against others. The SJW clan believes racism should be eradicated—at least the racism of white males—but this is in stark contrast to reality and human nature. People are naturally suspicious and fearful of the people outside of the tribe, especially if they look and act different. SJW cultural pseudo-Marxist polemics and “direct action” are incapable of changing this human attribute. It is the height of folly to think a deeply embedded and intrinsic behavior can be modified or eliminated through rhetoric and reeducation. Mao went one step further. He killed millions of people who disagreed with his totalitarian ideology.

Grand Distraction in Portland: Antifa Attacks Patriot Prayer

Let’s take a look at the latest Antifa riot.

It happened in Portland, Oregon. Members of Patriot Prayer—the propaganda media describe the group as “far-right”—were attacked by a violent “anti-fascist” squad during a “freedom rally” demonstration.
