Hyperlink Tax and Filters: Is It Time to Dust Off the Mimeo Machine?

The unelected bureaucrats at the European Union are in the process of destroying the web and social media as we know it. In the not too far distant future, we may be obliged to use other technologies to post news and commentary—for instance, a mimeograph machine.

Infowars Turns Readers Into Nazi Zombies

According to Reveal and the Center for Investigative Reporting reading Infowars will turn you into a white supremacist. It’s a racist recruiting tool, they insist.

Case in point: Andrew Anglin, the former hippie vegan who now edits The Daily Stormer. His previous effort was named Total Fascism.

More Russian Election Interference Nonsense

The one-party political class fears competition and hates criticism. That’s basically what the Russian election meddling narrative is all about.

Social Media Behemoths Sweep Alternative News into the Memory Hole

The squabbling between self-identified progressives and conservatives continues as social media transforms itself into a news, information, and opinion gatekeeper.

All information that contradicts the establishment narrative will either be downgraded into obscurity of excluded outright on social media.

Because of this, it does not depend on advertising and foundation grants. It is not controlled by outsiders who may influence content or withhold funding in the event they disagree with a certain political stance.

But there is a problem with this business model.
