Mike Pompeo’s Big Lies

It is entirely bizarre how an obvious lie can be furbished into truth and this is widely accepted not only by apparatchiks of the war party, but a large segment of the American people.

The Big Lie: Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are determined to stick their noses in our hallowed elections and take down America because, as Dubya declared, they hate us for our freedoms, etc.

This idiocy is maintained… well, because it works sufficiently on a dumbed-down public. Joseph Goebbels said that government should adhere to “the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it.” This should be maintained “even at the risk of looking ridiculous.”

Here’s Mike Pompeo, the former Congress critter who emerged from the shadows to run the CIA and now the State Department. Indeed, Mr. Pompeo looks ridiculous, but apparently few seem to notice. It’s an absurdity that may very well result in the end of life on planet Earth.

Mike knows—and if he doesn’t he’s an intellectual midget—that none of the nations he ticked off during his interview with the propaganda conduit Fox News are responsible for doing anything—even the insignificant—to meddle in our elections.

One has to wonder if Pompeo got his talking points from the DNC, the masters of election meddling (as Bernie Sanders knows) along with its junior partner in crime, the Republicans.

The United States has not only meddled in foreign elections, it has also killed people posing a political threat to the establishment and its foreign policy (e.g., Arbenz in Guatemala, Lumumba in the Congo, the decades long attempt to kill Castro, the plot against Hugo Chávez in Venezuela, and much, much more, including the assassinations of Malcolm X, the Kennedy brothers, and Martin Luther King).

Here’s another Big Lie Pompeo pawned off on the American people. It is truly remarkable anybody believes these brazenly obvious misrepresentations.

Detainees. Here in America, we have a few of our own. For instance, Jamal Joseph, Laura Whitehorn, Eddie Ellis, Patricia Levasseur, Assata Shakur (née Joanne Chesimard), members of the Bundy family, Edward and Elaine Brown, and others who died while in prison for political thought crime and activism: Richard Williams, Warren Wells, Teddy Jah Heath, Albert Nuh Washington, Merle Austin Africa, and Kuwasi Balagoon.

It doesn’t matter what we think of the political motivations right or wrong of some of these people, but that’s not the point. All were convicted for thought crimes and refusing to worship the state and its mandates, including those refusing to pay taxes or recognize theft of land and property by the state.

But Pompeo wasn’t talking about America’s political prisoners. Moreover, it is entirely fair to say he doesn’t care about the fate of Uighur Muslims or even Iranian Christians. These are merely pawns in a propaganda war ahead of the real McCoy.

Mike’s all talk now. He has yet to top the track record of one of his predecessors, Hillary Clinton, responsible for killing Gaddafi in Libya along with 30,000 other Libyans (she cackled live on TV in response to Gaddafi’s brutal murder), and facilitated arming crazed jihadists in Syria in a manufactured war that has claimed the lives of over 600,000 Syrians.

Talk may soon turn into action in Syria and North Korea despite the fake handshakes and a parroting corporate media dispensing glad tidings about peace and friendship.

The neoconization of the Trump administration is in full-swing. The Trump-cons are prepared to one-up a vacillating Obama, the man who increased illegal drone attacks in Pakistan, ratcheted up the war on journalists, and won the Noble Peace Prize for his murderous actions in Syria and Libya.

  1. Dismantling Pompeo might start with his globalist comment ending with, “those who want to undermine American democracy”. Sir I do believe the US is a Republic?
