I disagree with much of what Tommy Robinson says.
For instance, I am not an Islamophobe. I do not see a wider and more ominous threat in the practice of Islam in the United Kingdom or anywhere else—so long as it doesn’t use violence to realize its objectives. If you break the law and commit violent acts, you go to prison if judged guilty by a jury of your peers.
Because of his political beliefs, Robinson was slammed into jail.

Of course, that’s not what the government says. It says Tommy violated a media restriction imposed by the court when he filmed outside the courthouse. Robinson was jailed for thirteen months.
During his incarceration he was subjected to what amounts to torture.
“How else do you explain the perverse decision to move this outspoken critic of Islam into the Category C prison with the highest proportion of Muslim inmates in Britain?” asks James Delingpole.
“Why was he put in a ground floor cell, opposite the prison mosque, which enabled the inmates to spit and throw excrement through his window—to the point where his only option was to keep it shut and suffer in the stifling heat?
“And why was his food allowed to be prepared and served by Muslim prisoners when the authorities would undoubtedly have known that it would be deliberately contaminated with excrement and heaven knows what else?”
Because he is an outspoken public figure preaching against the political correctness of the state, a mechanism its utilizes to control the populace and discredit and destroy all those who would oppose and challenge its monopoly of power.
Robinson is also a critic of the European Union.
As for violent Muslims in Europe—they are overwhelmingly if not almost excessively Wahhabi branded Sunnis. If Parliament was serious about addressing Britain’s Muslim problem, it would refuse to have anything to do with Saudi Arabia and the other medieval monarchies in the Persian Gulf. These nations have sponsored terrorism—including funding and supporting the Islamic State—for decades.
Because the British state has exploited Islam for over a century. Both the British and the Americans used radical Muslims—including but not limited to the Muslim Brotherhood—to take down pan-Arab nationalists. British intelligence has sheltered and protected a number of radical imams before and after 9/11 (although many became convenient patsies after the attacks).
In America, the CIA handed out visas to known terrorists—and those on terror watch lists—as part of an effort to get the terrorism scam rolling back in the 1990s.
I’m of the opinion the ruling elite and its army of unelected bureaucrats in Europe want to fold Islam into the social fabric of European culture and religion. It’s a long term project based on simple math—Muslims have more children than Europeans and within a generation they will dominate the continent both demographically and politically.
Fundamentalist religion functions as an effective tool for social and political control when the state and religion are intertwined. Naturally, the elite will not be converted—its religion has always been power and authority exercised in pathological fashion. It will have Muslim quislings running the show.
Because Tommy Robinson has been portrayed by corporate media as a “far-right” radical and a racist, the state understands it can do just about anything it wants.
This sort of brutal behavior is a prominent feature of British history. The Tudors tortured and killed hundreds of their political enemies.
Queen Elizabeth pioneered modern political surveillance. She had William and Robert Cecil organize the first English intelligence agency.
A couple hundred years later, the British herded thousands of South African Boer women and children in concentration camps where tens of thousands either starved to death or died from disease.
History buffs might recall the Amritsar massacre. In 1919 the Brits killed around a thousand Indian demonstrators inside the walled Jallianwala Gardens. During the occupation of India by the British Empire, between 12 and 29 million people died from famine.
Let’s not forget the Mau Mau Uprising. Between 1951 and 1960, members of the Kikuyu tribe in Kenya were detained in camps where they were systematically tortured and raped.
An empire will do virtually anything up to and including genocide to maintain its control over natural resources and populations.
Tommy Robinson’s experience is merely another example of what the state will do to individuals posing a serious political challenge.
